1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms apply to all users of Screen Shot, including free users and paid members. Your use of the App is also subject to the Apple App Store Terms of Service and applicable laws and regulations.
If you are under 18, please read these Terms and use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time and will notify you of material changes through in-app notices or by updating this page.
2. Description of Service
Screen Shot is an App Store screenshot template editor for iOS developers and designers. Core features include, but are not limited to:
- Template editing with live preview;
- Cross-screen device frames (e.g. phone cases spanning multiple screenshot pages);
- High-definition image export;
- Template library browsing and application (some features require membership).
We continuously improve the product, so features and availability may change with updates without prior notice. The distinction between free and member-only features is determined by what is shown in the App.
3. Account & Membership
The App uses your Apple ID for in-app purchases and subscription management; no separate account registration is required. Your membership is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on the same Apple ID using Restore Purchases.
Member benefits may include premium templates, watermark-free HD export, and additional editing tools, as described on the in-app membership page. Membership is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Fees paid are non-refundable except as required by law or Apple policy.
4. Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal
Screen Shot offers auto-renewing subscriptions (e.g. monthly or annual membership). Charges are billed to your Apple ID account under the following rules:
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period;
- You may manage or cancel subscriptions anytime in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions;
- After cancellation, paid benefits remain available until the end of the current period; no further charges apply in the next period;
- Refund requests must be submitted through Apple; we follow App Store refund policies;
- After reinstalling the App or switching devices, use Restore Purchases in the App to recover membership.
Subscription prices may vary by region, promotion, or version. The price shown on the App Store purchase confirmation page applies.
5. Acceptable Use
When using the App, you must comply with applicable laws and these Terms. You agree not to:
- Upload, edit, or export content that infringes intellectual property, portrait, privacy, or other rights of others;
- Use the App to create or distribute illegal, obscene, violent, fraudulent, or misleading content;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, crack, or attempt to obtain the App's source code;
- Use automated tools to access, scrape, or disrupt the App;
- Circumvent membership limits or in-app purchase verification;
- Use the App in any way that harms us or third parties.
You are solely responsible for all content you import, edit, and export. If your conduct causes disputes or losses, you bear the corresponding legal responsibility and must compensate us for reasonable damages.
6. Intellectual Property
All App content — including UI design, icons, built-in templates, software code, documentation, and branding — is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws and is owned by the Screen Shot development team or respective rights holders.
These Terms do not transfer any of the above rights to you. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for lawful personal or commercial design purposes (such as creating App Store listing screenshots).
You retain ownership of images, text, and other content you import. You grant us only the limited processing rights necessary to provide and improve the service (such as local on-device preview rendering). We do not claim ownership of your user content.
7. Privacy
We value your privacy. For how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information, see our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. By using the App, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.
For privacy questions, contact us via in-app Feedback at Profile → Feedback.
8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for service interruption, data loss, or other damages caused by:
- Force majeure (e.g. natural disasters, war, government action);
- Network, device, or operating system compatibility issues;
- Apple platform policy changes or service adjustments;
- Your failure to follow instructions or violation of these Terms.
In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (if any), or USD $15, whichever is greater.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time. If you violate these Terms, we may restrict or terminate your access to some or all features without prior notice.
After termination, provisions that by their nature should survive — including disclaimers, intellectual property, and limitation of liability — remain in effect.
10. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via in-app notice or by updating this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, please stop using the App.
We recommend reviewing this page periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
11. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law in your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes arising from or related to these Terms should first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may bring the matter before a court of competent jurisdiction.
